I don't blog but ever since I obtained my MBP I make video posts (vlogs, if you will) for a friend of mine and post them up on Facebook because he really enjoys them.
I never considered that what I had to say was pertinent enough to attract so many people, though that doesn't mean I don't respect those who do choose to pursue the interest. I just never felt my life or opinions would be interesting enough unless I shared too much and that'd be flip flopping between two extremes

When I was younger, I hardcore blogged. Had my own website, knew HTML and CSS and designed it myself. I forget how to do most of that stuff now though. It was fun while it lasted, but then I grew up a little bit and my hobbies changed.

I suppose one might consider major amounts of photo uploads to facebook a form of blogging perhaps? If so, I do that kind.

I just realised that this thread is in the drafts. Please be careful where you post new threads Andrew. Can one of the execs please move this thread to the General Discussion Forum? Thanks.

I've also been on LJ for 6 years, (it used to be so popular with my highschool back in grade 10). Also used to be obsessed with HTML and designing my layouts. I recently started a video account on youtube.

The whole designing your own website blog was soo popular back in the day. I can't find any of those sites anymore though. Lots of fun.

Some people I knew were so awful at designing, they would take an image and tile it as their background... "the tile effect" I used to troll their accounts for it lol. Though when I first started, I thought hot pink font on black background was cool haha

LOL. Yeah, I hear ya. I wasn't too hot when I started out either. It was funniest when people I met told me they were going to go into graphic designing professionally and I was like "Right....." haha.
