I took it last sem and Dr. Rink taught it-not Dr. Riller. For Dr. Rink, we had 2 midterms worth 35% each and the final which was 30%. Both midterms were pretty easy (it was all MC). Class averages were 68% and 71%. Exam was pretty much the same. We had two hours to write it but everyone was done in like 30 minutes lol.

From the outline posted in the Earth sc 2gg3 webpage with Dr. Riller for this sem(http://www.science.mcmaster. ca/geo/undergraduate/courses/secondyear/earth2gg3/index.html) the course is a lot different now...

Course Evaluation
Bi-weekly tests 10%
Midterm exam 30%
Final exam 60%

Not a bad class, very exam heavy though.

thanks for the responses. I noticed that the outline changed also, but is the material dry...or somewhat interesting?
