Anyone used to be or still is in Cadets?
Just wanted to know if there are people who are/were involved in the program. Maybe we can make a discussion thread on this?

Nope but I was actually planning to do cadets many many years ago. I didn't end up doing it though. :( I have lots of friends that did cadets though.

WO1 (to be officially retired in August after completing International Air Cadet Exchange) of 704 Air Force City Squadron. Whoot.
edit: Will be working with 150 Hamilton squadron in the fall!

Coolio. I`ve been out of cadets for a good two years now, but I`d like to be back in it, as an CI or an officer.
I used to be a PO1 at 49 J.T. Cornwell V.C. in Winnipeg, but I quit because of university. What a bad idea that was.

Out of the whole graduating class at my school, there was only one person who actually continued with cadets from grade 7.. to grade 12, and still going I believe. Hearing his stories, it's a really great opportunity for anyone.. I missed out :( even though like nino said, I planned to join.. hmm 6 years ago :S.. Oh well :(

I was going to be one! Actually did it for a week but I got kicked out :( I don't even really know why they did.

Aww that's so sad :(. Funny how they were begging people to come in.. just trying to recruit anyone at the beginning of the year, and in the end, they narrowed it down to barely a few people :(

I guess so, or that the kids in my corps were so good that it never happened? I don't know, I've never heard of any expulsions until now.

I've never heard of expulsions for those kinds of reasons :S
