It usually lasts the entire summer, from what I remember anyway.

It's nice to consider the people who might try to help you. They are less likely to help you if they can't understand you or get frustrated reading lines and lines of text with no punctuation.

Why Sept 11 or 21? You said August, so yes, the offer would still be on in August. Pretty much before school starts would be your best bet.
