August 30th
Hi, first time starting a thread on MacInsiders...
So here i go!
I'm going to be @ Mckay Hall this year and my move-in day happens to be August 30th, in the morning time slot (8-12). I was wondering if I could use my student card for all 3 meals on that day, or will I have to eat myself til September 4th?

Thanks in advance =P

I'm pretty sure you can use your meal plan as soon as you move in. Right before you move in, they will check to make sure your meal plan function is working on your student card, so you should be able to use it after that...

You definitely don't have to "eat by yourself" till Sept 4th!

When you put on 15 pounds because you keep swiping that meal card on campus! Lots of desserts and goodies, just don't get carried away!

Looking forward to that article Mitch! Good to know meal plans can be used once we move in. I'm moving on Saturday to at Les Prince. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

MohitB, what floor are you on?

Thank god for that freshmen 15. I've been trying to gain weight for the past 3 years, eating like crazy and lifting massive weights. Ended up gaining only 10lbs =(

I'm on the first floor of McKay this year, room #1. I snuck into McKay on Tuesday after my volunteering and checked out my room. It's right, and I mean right, beside the front door to your left. I'm sandwiched between the staircase and the common room. Oh well. I hope everyone comes to say hi, I'll probably be hanging around the front of the building most of the time!

Edit: Sorry, I thought you asked which room am I in. Haha, I feel embarrassed now....I'm working too hard....
