BECOME A STUDENT SUCCESS LEADER
The Student Success Leader (SSL) Program is NOW accepting applications for
the 2011-2012 school year. We have a number of excellent student leadership
development opportunities in many Student Affairs units. These volunteer
positions are student-focused, and range from 1-on-1 helping to event planning
to advocacy and more!
As a Student Success Leader, you have the chance to learn with knowledgeable
professional staff within Student Affairs, and develop important skills in
leadership, communication, and collaboration, among many others.
Most importantly, our focus is on YOUR growth as a student leader. There is
opportunity for training, goal-setting and ongoing personal and professional
development through this program - great preparation for future employment and
post-graduate experiences!
Volunteer leadership opportunities are available through various Student Affairs
units including the Student Success Centre, Campus Health Centre, Centre
for Student Development, Service Learning and Civic Engagement, Student
Conduct and Community Standards, and International Student Services. With a
variety of different units and roles to choose from, there are positions that will suit
any student’s interests and goals!
