Do you think I can become a spanish TA even if I don't take the course
If so, how can I apply

I am pretty sure you would need to take the course (or at least take some higher level Spanish courses). For more information, you can contact the Department of Linguistics and Languages (the Faculty of Humanities). The departmental office is located in Togo Salmon Hall, room 629.

One of my friends from Mexico City was a Spanish TA.

They do have native speakers TA the first year Intro class, my TA was a native speaker of Spanish as well.

For languages it is a little bit different than the other courses, since if you're a native speaker you have the knowledge that other people do not through book learning.
