Yea I'm in the same boat as you. I need to gain weight and bulk up. Took me 1 month (sept) to lose 5 lbs... pretty easy to get lazy to cook and eat. I recently just bought some weight gainer so hopefully that will help me out a bit. Gotta start doing some cardio soon.

Oh ya I normally just have about 25g of whey protein mixed with milk after a workout. Now i have 1/2 of a weight gainer shake before and after a workout.

I'd recommend multivitamins, and creatine as the only supplements.

I also take protein (60g). Of course I have to tone it down to 1/2 a serving because it's too potent for me =P. I normally go for 3500 calories a day, and 168g of protein. (1.4g/lb). Not to harp on the mac cycle, but don't buy the stuff they have. Not very good quality and much too expensive imo. Go to GNC.

I am skinny build, 120lbs, and 5'9" trying to bulk up. Who wants to be my training partner?

ahh GNC = huge ripoff IMO. The closest GNC i know from here is at limeridge mall. If you walk across the street there is a "popeyes" that have similar products for much cheaper. And I've heard your body will only process about 20-30 g of protein at a time so taking 60g's = about half is wasted. So having 1/2 the serving is about right.

That is true, but each person can consume a different amount of protein. Also after 1 to 2 hours, your body is able to absorb more protein so instead of a shake mixed with alot of protein in it, consider taking 2 shakes.

I bought my whey isolate from costco($39.99) for a huge tub.

I hate bulking up. It seems like I'm always eating, or taking a dump.

Don't buy into everything you hear. Do lots of research, and if you see a fact, check it out. Too many things out there, and most of it crap.

Also GNC = le expensive. Currently I'm on a cut so only supplements I take are vitamins and a protein shake (~30g whey) on weekends, since I live off campus, can't take my protein everywhere :(
