My top 3:
1. Band of Horses at the Hollywood Bowl in LA.. Words cant even describe. Tegan and Sara opened, they were alright, but the place lit up when BOH came on. They played all of their best songs, including ones that aren't so popular but still awesome. For the second half of their show they got the LA philharmonic to play along with them and use the orchestral instruments to accompany their songs, it was unreal. They finished with a fireworks show when they played Transatlanticism, and they were set perfectly to the beat and melody of the song.
2. John Mayer at the Molson Ampitheatre. JM has mad guitar playing talent. His sound was spot on, he even added a few extra solos to some of his songs. He also played his best songs like Vultures and I Dont Trust Myself and avoided most of his pop-ier songs like Your body is a wonderland.. which was welcomed.
3. Theory of a Deadman, Hedley, and Our Lady Peace in Belleville ON: It was rainy but noone cared, there was crazy energy from every band that played. I'm not a huge Hedley fan but their live show is actually pretty fun. Our Lady Peace was obviously great, they played a bunch of their new songs which convinced me to go out and buy their album. All in all great lineup
