I had a photo pass to shoot the Edge's Jingle Bell Rock at the Sound Academy tonight... Die Mannequin in particular.

But I wound up having to be at the airport... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOO

I'd have to say my top 5 concerts would be:

5. Matthew Good - December 2009 - Massey Hall
4. The Hip - June 2009 : Massey Hall
3. Sigur Ros - September 2008 : Massey Hall
2. Foo Fighter - September 2008: VFest Toronto
1. Radiohead - August 2008: Molson Amphitheater

Other great shows: Wintersleep(great Canadian band) at the Phoenix, Silversun Pickups(Sound Academy and VFest, Matt Good at Hamilton place, Bloc Party at the Kool Haus.

I really want to see My Morning Jacket. I hear they are epic live, so I've got my fingers crossed that they'll tour this year once their new album comes out!

Iron Maiden in 2008 at the ACC on their Somewhere Back in Time Tour.

Motley Crue in 2009 promoting Saints of Los Angeles at Copps Coliseum, most energetic crowd I've ever seen.

I saw Alexisonfire quite a few times starting july 13th 2007 at the Molson Amphitheatre which was probably my fave concert so far. I remember my friend and I driving through a snowstorm to see them one year which was an experience. I saw Metric at Edgefest 2 summers ago and they were amazing. City and Colour at Massey Hall, a few years ago.
My friend and I watched Sam Roberts play at the Kee from a dock a couple of years ago because we were too young to get in and that was also unreal.
Tokyo Police Club Im going to see on the 31st which I can't wait for!!

My top 3:
1. Band of Horses at the Hollywood Bowl in LA.. Words cant even describe. Tegan and Sara opened, they were alright, but the place lit up when BOH came on. They played all of their best songs, including ones that aren't so popular but still awesome. For the second half of their show they got the LA philharmonic to play along with them and use the orchestral instruments to accompany their songs, it was unreal. They finished with a fireworks show when they played Transatlanticism, and they were set perfectly to the beat and melody of the song.

2. John Mayer at the Molson Ampitheatre. JM has mad guitar playing talent. His sound was spot on, he even added a few extra solos to some of his songs. He also played his best songs like Vultures and I Dont Trust Myself and avoided most of his pop-ier songs like Your body is a wonderland.. which was welcomed.

3. Theory of a Deadman, Hedley, and Our Lady Peace in Belleville ON: It was rainy but noone cared, there was crazy energy from every band that played. I'm not a huge Hedley fan but their live show is actually pretty fun. Our Lady Peace was obviously great, they played a bunch of their new songs which convinced me to go out and buy their album. All in all great lineup

I haven't been to any concerts with any really huge bands, and it's kind of hard to choose just one, but I think my favourite show was Four Year Strong/Set You Goals/The Swellers/Fireworks at Reverb (summer before it closed down, I think)! Besttt crowddddd.

I saw Sam Roberts in London, probably the best concert I've been to yet.
