do they collect labbook at the end or at any time?
we always just hand in the lab report but I was wondering if they would just randomly want to me to hand in my lab book

No, last year when I took it, they never collected it. At the end of each lab, my TA would sign the last page. At the end of the course, we had a lab exam and they would check it very briefly during the exam. Other than that, they do not collect all the books from students and mark them.
