Bio 2C03?
So I went to the first lecture today and I was completly lost, it seemed like everyone already knew everything and I was sitting there confused....like WTFF! LOL
Does the class get much better?
Also I heard there was a group project and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the topics are and how easy it is?
Thanks

if by better you mean easier, definitely not. however, the assignment is really easy, I think most people got 80 or better.

I think he means it's supposed to be easy-_-.
I was a little confused too, but I think it's just because I forgot all these definitions and stuff. Also, all the RNA types are things people may have known from general knowledge or other courses or whatever. Hopefully after reading the textbook, it'll all make sense =/

Hey Sandra, if you took Bio 1B03 and 1M03 than that should be enough to get you through genetics.
What program are you in?
Oh and don't worry about the things some people say in class that seem to come out of nowhere, they're just trying to be outspoken to prove to other students that they're smart-asses. lol

Yea! Me neither. I thought it was just mRNA, tRNA, and rRNA, not sure where tmRNA came from -__- . Haha I know! It was hilarious

Hi,
Don't worry, the first day of class always seems overwhelming. I can relate, my frst tutorial in that class scared me, but you'll see that once you get into the groove of things, the content isn't that bad. No one really fails this course, however to get a 10, for the average person would require a bit more effort.
The group projects, from what I remember (they could have changed it), were relatively simple. In my year we were in groups of 2-4 and were randomly assigned a genetic disorder. We had to write a paper and present.

We actually learned about tMRNA in microbiology it works to unclog tRNA stuck on a damaged mRNA.
So that person was actually right but I did not wanna sound so nerdy in class
