i do remember a calculation questions from last year though.. won't hurt to review this eqn especially... its pretty important in popn ecology...
its a simple plug in the numbers question.. just try going over it once or twice and it'll be crstyal clear

How did you guys find it. I'm really not sure how it was. I mean, I liked the questions from the practice test, but there were also quite a few that I wasn't sure of .. =/

It was pretty easy, but she asked about minute details which I'm sure screwed a lot of people over

Exactly what I thought! When reading over the material, there was a lot of things that I didn't really think would be on it.. But I was wrong :@! But it still wasn't too bad, I hope the final is like this!
I saw you too, but honestly, we've like unofficially met once I think last year. So I didn't know if you knew me or not =/. Did you stay after her little spiel for the group meeting?

Oh no, just 20 minutes of talking about how no one goes to class after the break, why you need to buy the DVD for tutorials and how information for all tutorials is on the DVD, and trying to figure out which TA's are behind on assigning topics and such for the Oil spill debate. In other words, nothing important

ye its funny how "breaktime" usually signals the end of class for most... i sat there once and saw the class size drop to ten... so i quietly excused myself

Haha I know! Yeah, I wish I could do that.. That's where sitting in the front is not actually a good thing 'cause I can't exactly get out "quietly"

Anyhow, WHATS WITH ALL THE COOTES QUESTIONS? I didn't bother looking at that lecture cuz the practice had hardly any of them...so random guessed all that stuff lol
And I like how she thought people would memorize the Shannon equation thing...but I guess that's why it was in the bonus section.
Also, I've never seen a prof NOT use different versions (and she calls herself the head of bio lol). I swear every time the person next to me turned her head or looked back to check the time, I got paranoid that she would see my answers (had a clear view too).

I was surprised that she reused so many of the practice Qs, there were at least 10 in there, that's basically a free 15%-20% for anyone that studied them

I definitely could have done a lot better if i had studied more - but thanks to this being the last of 4 midterms in 6 days, i studied the least for it....darn :(
Oh but i thought the bonus were pretty easy - i think i only had trouble with the Shannon equation one haha
