He said that 40% of the exam would be tutorial questions and Sim Bio assignments :(

That's about 25 questions out of 60, can anyone who took this recently confirm that? And how bad/good was the exam?

I know if I get 45/60 in it, it will be 45/50 and I can 12 the course.

How did you get 45/50 from 45/60? Does he lower the denominator of the exam by 10? Also, when did he said it would be mainly tutorial questions and SimBio Questions?

Coverage: cumulative but the material not yet tested will dominate; there will also be questions from the tutorials/labs (discussions and computer labs) approximately in proportion to their course weight, i.e., 40%.

In addition: most likely, there will be a number of questions that you will be able to ignore without any penalty (say, you may find the test to include 60 questions but the mark will be calculated only on 50 and the calculations include all the correct ones). In practice, you will be able to ‘choose’ the questions you want to answer.

Yup, it was posted on Avenue around September, look in the News Section!
It's just weird how they mentioned there'll be a lot of tutorial and lab questions. I wonder if they're changing it up this year compared to last year?

Thanks silver! Did they give you a blurb too about 40% of the exam being based on tutorials/assignments too last year?

I'm just wondering that maybe they've changed it up this year or something to punish those who skipped tutorials (cough cough me)

Has anyone taken 3dd3? Do you know if he also reduces the denominator of the exam? I'm in both classes in the same term and it kind of sucks ahah.
