This course is good.

I believe the break down was something like this:
20% Tutorial Assignments (6)
20% Midterm
20% Project
40% Exam

The midterm was very easy and was about 40 MC questions. I think the average was anywhere between a high 80 or a low...

Can anyone comment on the difficulty of his midterms from previous years? I was a bit surprised because he told us the midterm would just be 5 SA questions. I was expecting an MC test. In previous years, did you have to graph and do calculations, or was it just interpreting data and drawing conclusions?

It's been a while since I took this course.

The midterm is generally calculations. I remember there were tables and we had to calculate and fill in some values.
As far as I know, he will not ask you to draw a graph because you don't have enough time.
One of the short answers might just be a group of MC questions.

The exam is more about the interpretation.

For the test, just focus on your tutorial questions and what you have learnt so far. It should not be that bad.

Anyone know how this course compares with BIOCHEM 4Q03 (Biochemical Pharmacology)?

I've never taken Biochem 4Q04, but the requirements are different for both.
You'd need biochem 2ee3 and 3g03, or biochem 2bb3 to take that one.

When I took bio 3AA3 last term, it wasn't too bad. The project was a little hectic, though. If you have specific questions about it, you can go ahead and ask me. However, some of the users have given a very detailed review of the course here.

Can someone tell me what you do in the tutorials? Why are they so long?
