Bio 3U03 vs. Mol Biol 3H03 vs. Bio 3P03
So which courses are the best ??

i need to pick 2 out of these 3 =

Bio 3U03
Mol Biol 3H03
Bio 3P03

My criteria is....easiness!

I dont mind putting in effort as long as there is a definite chance for me scoring a 10+.
I also dont mind memorization.

I am taking 2 of these three this coming semester. From what I've heard. Mol Bio 3H03 is quite easy to do well in and involves mostly memorization. So if you are looking for easiness, definately take it. I've also heard Bio 3U03 is quite difficult and has a lab every week instead of every other week, whereas 3P03 only has tutorials. 3U03 will involve a lot more formal lab writups which can be difficult and time consuming. So take time to choose between those two.

Yep, Bio 3u03 has formal labs which are a pain (i remember it took me a LONG time to do the bio 2a03 labs).

The only reason im considering 3u03 is because i feel that the labs will help cushion the impact of the exams since marks will be more distributed. So, i can do badly on the 1st lab, get feedback, improve my labs and get a decent overall mark on the lab component. So i only risk 5-7% (for doing a bad 1st lab).

In bio 3p03 is 25% per midterm so if i screw up a midterm i risk 25% of the marks.

thats my reasoning so far.

hmmmm, but i usually average 70-83% on labs though....so its not like im awesome at them...hmm

I've heard terrible things about Bio 3FF3 (Evolution). Anyone else taking it?

Also, from those three, I'm taking 3U03 since physiology is the most interesting probably.
And it opens up 4th year courses too, I believe.

hmm i just checked the undergrad calendar and it doesn't list 3u03 as a prerequisite for other bio courses except for Bio 4X03 (ENVIRONMENTAL PHYSIOLOGY)
