Biochem 2EE3 vs Biology 2G03
I'm debating whether to take biochem 2ee3 or bio 2g03... does anyone know which one is supposedly easier/less workload? Thanks!

i've only taken biology 2g03 and I would recommend 2g03 because it doesn't have that heavy of a workload and assignments are not marked hard. I took 2g03 with jim quinn and so there may be a different format if another teacher is teaching but in general, it was a relaxing course. It is a very small class and there is a lot of group work. when I took it, there was a final individual essay and a group presentation involved but again, I didn't find this course to be stressful at all.

here's my review : http://www.macinsiders.com/showthrea...tr=B&t=27 172

biochem 2ee3 is pure memorization, if you are good at memorizing then this course is a guaranteed 11 or 12. it's also extremely boring but its a prereq for some fun 3rd year courses (e.g. biochem 3h03, biochem 3n03 etc).

Form what I've heard from upper years, both courses don't seem to have a particularly heavy workload, but it's different type of work. Also, the subjects are completely different. So I know this is really typical, but pick what you like. And I say this because the topics of the 2 courses are VERY different, not even related. Also, the review for Biochem 2EE3 is here. I would suggest looking at ratemyprofessors.com to see ratings of the professors teaching the 2 courses to get a feel of their teaching style. And lastly, note that 2G03 is an inquiry class, meaning it'll be VERY small compared to Biochem, which is held in the biggest lecture hall on campus, MDCL1305, which must mean that about 500-600 student register for the course-just something to keep in mind.
