Biochem 3N03
Hey guys,

can somebody comment on Biochem 3N03: Nutrition and Metabolism? There were previous posts comparing Biochem 3H03 & 3N03, but not specifically on 3N03

Thanks

I took Biochem 3N03 this past year with Dr. MacDonald. She is a wonderful professor . The course requires writing a concept paper every 2 weeks (1-2 pages) about a topic that we are discussing. We also had to write an opinion-editorial piece that was worth 15%. there were 2 midterms and one final group project worth 30%.
Some people didn't like the group project because we had to work in large groups (5-8 people) and it was a long report rejecting/approving a health claim (i.e. "lycopene in tomatoes helps reduce risk of prostate cancer").
The midterms, I found challenging, they were mostly short/long answer. But with a lot of hard work, it's possible to get an A.
