Biochem 3N03 (nutrition) not offered?
Hello!

I've checked the course timetable for the Fall/Winter sessions but the course isn't listed. Is it possible that it's not being offered?

Thanks!

I read in another thread that it says it's offered in the calendar, but nothing is mentioned in the master timetable. But I saw that there's a new course shown in the master timetable but not the undergrad calendar, Life Sci 2N03 I believe? I'm not sure what's with the discrepancy there, but I would definitely email the Biochem/Life Sci departments to find out for sure.

I think it's a fourth year course now. Check out Biochem 4M03.

3N03 is no longer listed in the undergraduate calendar. I think it became 4M03:

BIOCHEM 4M03 NUTRITION AND METABOLISM

Study of nutritional biochemistry and the regulation of metabolism; the role of specific nutrients in functional processes of the body in health and disease.

Three lectures; first term
Prerequisite(s):
BIOCHEM 3D03; or BIOCHEM 2EE3 (or LIFE SCI 2EE3) and BIOCHEM 3G03 (or ISCI 2A18); or a grade of at least C+ in BIOCHEM 2EE3 (or LIFE SCI 2EE3); or HTH SCI 2E03
Antirequisite(s):
BIOCHEM 3N03

Just to reconfirm the post above, I emailed the undergraduate assistant in the Biochem department and received the following reply:
"The course BIOCHEM 3N03 has been changed to BIOCHEM 4M03. There has simply been a change in the course code – the course remains the same. Also note that if you are in 3rd year you can still take the course (do not have to be in 4th year to take it)."

No problem! And haha yeah, I know how you feel. It conflicts with Genetics in term 2 which means I can't take it either. Sucks because it sounds like a fairly interesting course.
