A friend of mine took it last year. It's not nearly as fun as 2D03 and there's a lot of emphasis on the photosynthesis cycles. But he ended up doing well even though he started slacking =p

If your friend would recollect... were the tests and exams easy? Is it MC and all memorization?

3B03 is plant phys right?

It's a good, but tough, course. Took it last year and yes, it focuses mostly on the "micro" side of plant biology. The labs are a fair amount of work, although the TA (as long as it hasn't changed) is really, really good. Most of the labs are formal (with only a few exceptions).

The tests are tough but fair, and they're a combination of MC and short answers.

3B03 is not a bird course - it takes work on a daily basis, but it's indispensable for people who are interested in plants or even ecology since plants play such a large role in ecological systems.

so is it a 10+ course?
