I have been sick for the past week & missed some lectures. Has Dr. Finan specifically said what types of questions will be on the midterm (multiple choice, only written). Is the midterm for this class usually brutal?

Does anyone know why temperature sensitive mutants are good targets for new antibiotic sites?

I'm pretty sure it's all short answer, similar to the tutorial questions/practice test questions. I've heard there's 7 questions on the test and that they'll have several parts, but my TA told me that last he heard from Dr Finan, there were 4 questions on the test. So I guess we'll see.

@ShouldBeStudying, the answers to those practice test questions were posted on avenue, also I believe he's going over them in lecture tomorrow.

Yeah... some of the questions were okay but it's hilarious how many answers I had to b.s. and make up on the spot. I miss the good old days of 2nd year when biology was easy. And the bioinformatics midterm today was also disappointing. feels bad man
