Bird Course Needed!
Hey guys i need some help
Im looking for a course that would be considered bird to help lighten a very heavy course load next term
I already know about water (earth sic 2ww3) and natural disasters (earth sci 2gg3)
Know of any other courses that do not require a lot of attention to do well in?

Im not looking for courses that require a lot of literature reading or writing papers
Thanks!

Both first year econs are pretty much the definition of bird courses. HOWEVER the easiest courses are those that you enjoy the most. When you take 6 or 7 courses per semester those that you dont like tend to go on the backburner and you pretty much only study right before tests or exams. Then you do bad. Although if your half decent at math you should be able to get a 10 or so in both econs with a few hours of study the night before.

Econs, Psych 1X03 (for me at least), some enviro sci courses, languages if you put in the effort. Honestly 'birdiness' depends on what you like. If you like the course, you will tend to well.

I took Water as a bird course and didn't do as well as I could because I found it to be incredibly boring and didn't want to study. I also took economics and did pretty good in it but had to study quite a bit as it was a subject that I had no strengths in it.

So once I hit third year, I started taking electives that I thought I would enjoy. I took some psych courses and some religious studies courses which to me are interesting and did much better in them than if I had taken some bird courses because I actually wanted to learn the material and had an interest in it.

im currently taking sanskrit 3A06. it's not a bird course but it's quite possible to get a 12 in that course. it's not really a language course, it's more of a grammar course. we learn to translate Sanskrit. and the professor is pretty good.

Any language beginners courses are good although I can't say the same for Japanese 1Z06...

I actually found Geography 3LT3 to be a bird course. Although you need Geo 2LE3 as a prerequisite. Since they changed the course names for this year, I don't know how that course runs. There used to be a course called Introduction to Transportation and Economic Activity (Geo 2LI3) and that was also a bird course, at least for me.

I've taken it... and it was a disaster.
Don't get me wrong though, the stuff you do are very easy and the test questions are directly from the question banks provided in a CD.
The only thing is that there are TONS of stuff you have to memorize and the question banks contain THOUSANDS of questions.
Unless you keep up with it every week, you'll get a bad mark (and this is not a definition of a bird course).

That being said, here are some bird courses:
- 1st year Life Sci Calculus (Free A+ if you were raised in pure Korean/Chinese culture)
- 1st year Linguistics (both)
- 2nd year Astronomy (2B03)
- 2nd year Earth Sci 2GG3 (Free A+ if you have Basik as long as you spend ~2 hours to study for the final exam)
- 2nd year Water (semi-bird)
- 2nd year Econ with Kahn (semi-bird)
- Life Sci 2A03
- Life Sci 2N03 (semi-bird)
- Life Sci 3A03 (Dej; semi-bird)
- Psych 2B03, 2AP3 (highly depends on the person)

I've taken everything listed above and they're all easy courses (i.e. A+ very doable with relatively little effort)

For posting a GIF that has been constantly recirculating on reddit for the past week?
Apparently the title of being amazing is easily obtained these days
