Boots?
Where do you buy boots for guys? And I mean decent boots that don't cost more than 150 bucks. Nothing too overused like Timberland, but nothing borderline goth, either.
Also, semi-related is another set of boots (separated from the topic above) that look like these: http://eluts.com/shop/step1.php?number=980
Anyone know where to find any like those?

I suggest you try Factory Shoe Outlet, Shoe Warehouse or Footlocker, they all have well-made brands.

I've tried. Didn't see anything nice.
I've also tried mainsteam brands like Timberland and Converse - holy hell, overpriced much? Four years ago, the prices were literally 300% lower (if not less).

Aldo. You'll pay around $100 probably. If you wanna get clothes/footwear that look decent, you're gonna have to pay at least a bit.
As for those boots you linked, they remind me of Doc Martens.

I guess I don't mind paying $100, but I won't pay 256 bucks for a pair of boots.
And yeah, a few people told me that Dr. Martens has boots almost exactly like the ones in the link; problem is I don't think I'd actually wear them regularly - maybe only on occasions outside of school (since I am so self-conscious hurr durr).

I was in Mark's Work Wear House recently and noticed that they have a large selection of great men's boots. You should definitely check it out.

I think I may have seen something nice at Rockport, but I am not sure.

I love Aldo, I have tons of flats from there. But I must be honest, their shoes aren't necessarily made that well. They may be expensive, but from my experience, they're not built to last.
