Business admission
I couldn't find this on any of the other posts so I will ask here. I was just wondering, I am applying to the DeGroote School of Business and the cut-off average is 81-84%. If I have an 79-80% average and come from one of the best schools in Ontario (only reason I know this is because my school brags about being the 29th or 30th best school in Ontario) will I still have a chance of being accepted? I really want to get into this program since its my first choice and when I visited the campus I loved it.

I don't think the school you go to now matters much. The university could really care less if you went to the best school in Ontario (not to bring your hopes down). Isn't there a supplementary form to be filled if you don't meet the cutoff? I don't know if midterm marks are out for high school yet, but if you've done well until now this term, you might get accepted. I never got the first round acceptance either, but I did really well during mid-term in high school, filled out the supplementary and got accepted. So there's still hope. Good luck.
