buying used textbooks?
Hi, i'm thinking of buying used books(for math 1ao3/1aa3/1bo3 and kinesiology 1yo3/1yy3)... and some of them are older editions but they are wayyyy cheaper than the current one... so i'm considering to buy the old edition... but just to make sure, will it be a lot different from the current edition? or just as much useful?

This question can only be answered after the first lecture or two. That's when your prof will mention if it's suitable to use older editions or not. Usually, it's okay and profs even provide the page numbers in different editions, but you can never be too sure. So it's best to wait until after that first lecture .

And if you are really eager you can try to e-mail the prof and ask them. You'll need a functional McMaster e-mail account and it's not guaranteed that they'll actually answer your e-mail.
