Calibri Font in MS Word 97-2003
Is it possible to get the Calibri Font (2007) to display properly in MS Word 97-2003 without downloading the compatibility pack?

Should be perfectly fine as long as you have the Calibri Font package installed on your computer. Finding it may be an issue.

Edit:

I might as well take some time here to ask what exactly you mean by "display properly". If you are talking full layout, then there is more then just font type as a problem. If however it is just that you don't have the font package installed. You would have to find the font package somewhere, and if you don't have word 2007, it's not necessarily easy finding it.

I'm sending the document out to a person that has Word 97-2003, and I can't ask them to install/update anything.

The problem is that the font doesn't show up properly in Word 97-2003. I'm already saving in .doc

Unfortunately they need it in a Word file.

All the cool children use Arial in situations like these.

But srsly though, if you can, send a PDF. PDFs guarantee the layout won't get screwed up.

I'm thinking he needs to send a document that can be edited by the other party...

Also, high-five for embedded systems!!!!

Install Word Viewer, then uninstall it. The new fonts remain behind.

Probably not an option, the computer which is being used is likely a work computer, which means that installing things is not just disallowed, but password protected.
Finding the font and sending it to them is the best option, if, they have access to place it in the font listing.
