Get hyped for the Friends of MSF Annual Art Showcase! Come out to see inspiring artwork created by your fellow students and community members.
This year's theme is "Who I Am, Who We Are"! The purpose of our event is to foster creative expression, as well as raise awareness for Medecins Sans Frontieres/ Doctors Without Borders' current fight against ebola in West Africa. Students and other members of the Hamilton community will be showcasing their own, original pieces of art to the larger McMaster audience.
The event will run from
Friday February 27th, 2015 in the McMaster University Student Centre (MUSC) Marketplace, and again on
Saturday February 28th 2015, in the Education Gallery of the McMaster Museum of Art.
The event on Saturday will act as an artists reception where interested people can come in, meet and get to know the artists behind the pieces, as well as talk about their work. We hope that the event will inspire our larger community to recognize the power of artistic expression in effecting social change.
