The Campus Health Centre and Personal Counselling Services at the Centre for Student Development are building a new partnership.
McMaster’s Campus Health Centre and the Centre for Student Development are in the beginning stages of a new partnership that will see an improvement in services to students.
Core services will remain the same, but how students access and navigate these services will change. ‘This new partnership will take the guess-work out of seeking assistance for health, wellness and counselling related concerns.’ says Julie Fairservice the Clinic Director for the Campus Health Centre. ‘Students will be able to access all of these services through one, central point of contact.’ In order to promote individual well being and success, the new partnership will provide a consistent, streamlined and collaborative delivery model.
The new partnership needs a name! Members of the McMaster community are invited to submit their suggestion for the name of the new centre. Submissions should clearly convey the services provided through the new centre and reflect the student centred approach to health, wellness and counselling.
Submissions are to be emailed to
[email protected] by March 18 at midnight. Alternatively, ideas can be submitted in ballot boxes located in the CSD and CHC waiting rooms. Submissions will be screened by the Transition Team and the new name will be selected by Student Affairs managers.
