How about if one of the required 6 is below a 70% (that was required for applying) but your overall average is over 80 (the conditional average)?

as far as I'm concerned they don't even look at courses other than your top 6. and if it's not needed to graduate, then you should be fine

While i understand it isnt in your top six, you never mentioned whether it is a required course. What program shall you be in?

If it's a required course, then it is automatically put in your "top 6".

If the course isn't required and not part of your top 6, then you should be okay. If it's required and you fail, then yes, your acceptance will likely get revoked.

No you should be good. Lucky your school offered comp sci and comp eng or else physics would have screwed you over. Your average is at least pretty good

They calculate your average only using the prerequisite courses for your program, they calculate the average using 6 grades. If there are two prerequistes for a program they will take your four highest credits, excluding the prerequisites.

Yup yup, i understand that. But i'm saying if your average using your top 6 is above the conditional average, but one of the pre-reqs in that top 6 is below a 70. My question is does the required 70%+ for each pre-req still apply for finals, or was that just for applications?

We do not have minimum requirements for any individual course (even those which are required). The final admission average must meet the minimum required as stated on your offer letter. Final admission averages are calculated using your top 6 4U/M courses including those required for admission to your program. We calculate to two decimal points and do not round up averages.
I hope that this helps.

adaptation says thanks to pjohnson for this post.
