Probably.
If you feel you are being treated unfairly, take it up with the associate dean of the faculty or the ombuds office.

Honesty --- wtf does this question really mean?

Can anyone do something they want, on purpose? Yes. Plain and simple. Thank you for all the insight into your problem so that a very general community could provide you with the most useful advice possible....

I remember some years ago I said something that caused my TAs to become sandy vaginas. They gave a near fail mark for 3 labs, then I asked to write the 4th lab with another TAs and I got a perfect. Then for the last lab I went back to my TAs, and sure enough, they gave me a near fail mark.

Shit just happens.
