Just out of curiosity, how did everyone feel about this course?

I checked the previous year's course website and the average was 19/30 for the midterm and judging from the slides, it seems relatively straightforward. Pretty much my face was like this...

I took it two years ago and it's really not bad. I think what got some people is the stuff at the beginning is easy so when things got more difficult they didn't know what to do.

Also, it is more along the lines of 2DI4/2DP4, not 3DQ5. You are working with assembly level code for a MIPS processor.

I seem the remember the midterm average being low in my year too, but he boosted everyone ~6 marks.

Basically, do better than the average and you'll hit a double digit mark no problem.
