Chem 1A03 - Questions :)
Hey guys!
For Chem 1A03/1AA3 - do they both use the same chemistry textbook (General Chemistry: Principles and Modern Applications)?
And if so, which chapters are covered in chem 1A03?
I was skimming through the textbook just b/c my grade 12 chem background is nooot the strongest so I was just curious as to what chapters will be done first term.
And if anyone has taken it - do you review equilibrium (by far my weakest unit)? :/ I don't mind reviewing it now but if you do it in class, then that's fine too.

Yep, same textbook for both courses
From my notes, it appears that 1A03 covers aqueous solutions, thermochemistry, electrons in atoms, trends in the periodic table, chemical bonding, equilibria, acids and bases, spontaneity and electrochemistry

This might have changed over the last year, but it'll probably be similar
But yea, equilibria is covered

^all that he mentioned will come up. if youre not that great in chem, i still believe if you go to class and just go over the slides and masteringchem (online chem assignment) you should be good to go because i also forgot pretty much everything before i entered the class but the lecture notes are good.
