Chem 1AA3 Slides
The Chem slides are presently either 3 to a page with space for notes or 6 to a page without these spaces.
I have a hard time with the smaller font and would really like 2 per page. However, the files aren't uploaded as Powerpoints but as PDFs and I'm not sure how to print them 2 to a page.
Any help would be really appreciated

I would send him an email if i were you, or take this up with him directly to have him make the powerpoint slides 2 per page before he converts to pdf.
Why didn't you post this on the discussion board on ELM and instead here on macinsiders...?

Because it may be possible to solve it through formatting.

When I did Chem, one of the options was 1 slide per page if I recall. Not sure if they still have that. If they do, you should be able to use that with a printer option to print two pages to one.
Hopefully that helps a bit!

I don't that would be a good choice for this unit...it's 33 pages with six slides per page - 198 pages just for orgo.

I print double sided though, Kamran, so it's about 50 pages for me. I don't want them to upload everything like that; I just want a bigger font so I can read it clearly

Edit: A better question may be: how do other people manage with the font size?

The 6 slides per page font is perfectly big enough for me.. but I guess everyone has different preferences. Try asking the prof for 2 slides per page.

I find 3 slides per page more than enough for me, I have enough space and the font is large enough. I do zoom it in a little bit though, to make the slides a little bigger and the margins smaller.

I agree. I just hate how much it wastes paper. I hate having big bulky notes that take a couple of pages to talk about something minor. That's why I make my own notes afterward.

I also tend to do that, but in almost all my courses I bring a laptop and use foxit to write on the PDFs incase the professor adds an aside. Which happens pretty often. For Chemistry I have to print the slides because I can't draw on my laptop >.>

I usually keep a sheet of paper out, and write asides on that, referencing the slide number / title.

Ah yes, I used to do that too. But I like to have everything together. Knowing me, if I have separate notes from the slides I would lose one of them >.<
