Depends on what style of referencing you are using. I am most familiar with APA so you would use the format of:
Author/s. (Publication Date). Title of article.
Name of Journal, Volume Number(Issue
Number), page numbers.
Example:
Spar, D. (2005, May). For love and money: The political economy of commercial
surrogacy.
Review of International Political Economy, 12(2), 287-309.
Notes:
- capitalize only the first letter of the first word of the article title
- capitalize the significant words that make up the journal name
- italicize the journal name, volume number and issue number
