Life Sci and Health Sci don't have any sort of clinical placements. I think it differs for each program when clinical starts, but I'm relatively sure that its not until second year; at least for most programs.
If anyone has any info on how clinical selection works for nursing, I would be very interested in you posting. Is there any way to guarantee getting a nearby placement?

In 2nd year, clinical placement for nursing is a lottery. If you desire a location outside of Hamilton, you can email the 2nd level program coordinator and make a request. Otherwise, your name is put into a computer program and randomly assigned placements are matched w. yr name regardless of where you live. If you end up w. an undesirable location, you may be able to find someone you can switch w.

I've been told that the radiation therapy specialization is the most competitive... thats the one that I'm interested in. Does anyone know what kind of grades people had who got into this specialization? Which math do you think is more geared towards radiation therapy, calculus I or calculus for life sciences?
Thanks!

I find more people get in to their respective streams due to interest, so I don't think MedRadSci as a whole is that competitive.
I think 10-10.5/12 should be able to do the job. You're better off asking around during Faculty Day at Welcome Week when you will have tours conducted by the MedRadSci Society.
Which math is more suited to RT? I don't think it matters, but don't hold me to that.
