Clubsfest 2007! Are you going?
When asking if first year students are coming to Clubsfest, most replied that they had no idea what Clubsfest was... so let us tell you! Clubsfest takes place on the Wednesday of Welcome Week and over 200 clubs participate by setting up tables outside the Student Centre (MUSC) as well as inside. By attending Welcome Week, you can walk around and visit each of the tables to see all the many ways to get involved during your years at McMaster.
There are many types of clubs to get involved with, each year the number grows larger and you could start a club next year if you wanted to! For more information visit the

Why go to Clubsfest? Simple... to signup for clubs! Why signup for clubs? Because clubs are a GREAT way to meet new friends in first year! By joining clubs you are joining a group of people with similar interests as you... how much easier could it get to meet people!?
For example, are you living at home in first year? (off-campus). If so, be sure to check out SOCS (
The Society of Off-Campus Students) who run great events throughout the year and let you meet other students who are also living off-campus.
