What other specific companies hire EE students, besides Hydro One?

I think its 16 total, the reason being that only 12 is required for degree recognition.

Um companies that hire from EE...
rim, microsoft, ibm, sigma, gennum, amd, husky, opg... tons more.

Most companies that deal with electronics/telecomm/power/software will hire ee

So if you get a coop 4months after first and 2nd year, your only options are 4 and 8 month coops after 3rd year.
Great, thank you.

I'm fairly certain this is not correct. The most you can do is 16 at one time, but I know people who did a couple of 4 month ones and now have 16 month internships. Nobody told them they couldn't do a 16 month internship because they had 4 month co-ops behind them. Only 12 may count towards your degree, but more work experience will never hurt you.

Ask an academic adviser or a co-op prof, but I'm 99% sure that you are not limited like that, that you can do 4 months and then a 16 month later if you want.
