Commerce 2 FAQ's Help
I only have 24 units completed in Business I. How do I complete the 6 units required to be eligible for Honours Commerce Level 3 if I can only select a 3 unit elective?
You can take a 6 unit elective instead of Commerce 2KA3, Commerce 2AB3 or Econ 2X03 since it is not a pre-requisite for any required Level 3 course (however, if you are planning on pursuing one of the accounting designations, you should take Commerce 2AB3 in Commerce II). These courses must be taken at a later date.

From the Commerce II FAQ's off www.degroote.mcmaster .ca

I don't understand why they put that question up.
Are they saying you need 30 units in Business I to be elible for Honours Comm. III?
Or are they discussing electives? Or...?

I don't know what issue that question is addressing and whether I should be concerned about it next year.

You complete them by 1) Summer school 2) You are allowed to take 12 units overload in second year.

So you need to take 30 units in Business I to be eligible for Honours Commerce III?

That is correct, you need 30 units in Business I, followed by 30 units in Commerce II, to be eligible for Commerce III or better known as Honours Commerce.

By the way, click on the links above to see the exact requirements.
