Shouldnt be too bad.. you can take the HWY 407 bus from.. Bramlea? Overall, commuting isn't too bad.. your time management skills need to be good though.

Hi! I commuted from Brampton first year. It is manageable, but it gets a bit difficult when you have tests or classes at night. Also, there are no busses on Sat, so you'd have to find another mode of transportation to Mac if you've got Sat tests/exams. A lot of ppl commuted from Mississauga, soo Brampton isn't too far!

I hate going home to Caledon on the GO Bus because it takes sooo long (an hour to Bramalea if I don't catch the express, plus 30-40 min on top of that).

I think you're nuts!

No, I'm not commuting this year. My experience with commuting wasn't really the best. I had a lot of 830 labs and then late classes also. And I would have tests at night so I got home pretty late. It's really based on your timetable..if you have a good one commuting shouldn't be a problem.

If you find commuting to be too difficult first term, you could always find a place in Hamilton 2nd term. I had a friend who was commuting first term, then she rented a place to stay in for the rest of the yr.

I didn't commute every day from Brampton because I lived in residence but I did go home on weekends.

I took the Go Bus home though and occasionally took it back on Monday mornings if I wanted to stay home longer. They take you from Bramela Go Station straight to the McMaster campus. It's a little under 10 bucks one way but if you're doing it every day I think you can purchase some kind of pass. The run Monday-Friday as mentioned but not on weekends. I didn't mind taking it on Fridays but I don't know what it would be like to take it every day and what the timings are like for your classes. You might want take a look at your schedule and take a look at the bus schedule on the Go Transit website. I believe the bus is called the 47A.
