Comp Sci 1BA3
I noticed the some people were trying to sell their comp sci textbooks from last year. The prof from this fall 2010 specifically said that we cannot use the one from last year, that we need the new one... "i don't see how you can pass without it."

donntttt buy the comp sci textbooks

Well looks like they're trying something new this year...

Good luck with Hurst (although he was apparently easier last year).

i dont think im going to buy the textbook, even though Dr.Detlor said its mandatory.

i think that the lecture notes and attending the tutorials should be enough to get a good mark.

I've bought the textbook, and the first chapter is common sense (especially if you've got previous knowledge on computer hardware and software technology).
The class all in all seems easy to me, but that's because so far all we are learning is about computers :S
