Contact for Classroom Maintenance?
Does anyone know who I should contact at McMaster regarding a complaint about a classroom? I didn't just wanna call McMaster and ask, as the staff on phone are generally unfriendly so I'd appreciate your help. Basically, I had a class this last term in a room which I had so much trouble adjusting to because of the extremely low temperatures. I just checked schedule for my summer course and oh no, it's in that same room again!!! This time it could even be worse because I can't go to class with a winter coat and boots when it's summer (even the thickest winter coat, boots, and lighter jacket underneath didn't help stay warm)
No mean comments please. It's a very serious matter for me. Thanks!!

I'd say McMaster Facility Services.
They deal with all the building stuff as far as I know.
They even have a "Classroom Hotline" according to that website.

Depends on the building. I know HSC has their own admin office.

My guess would be JHE 326H, that room's freezing in the summer 'cause it feels like the AC's set to overcompensate for the for the heat outside. Second guess is BSB 147, but I wouldn't call the cold in there untolerable.

BSB 147 was only mainly cold near the bottom right of the lecture hall due to obvious reasons.

I used to work for the AV department and I was talking to one of them earlier this year and the problem their having is actually finding a time to get into the classroom and fix stuff. Because of the increased enrollment and lack of new space, most classrooms, especially the main ones, are booked solid during the day. So when they do get a chance to go in there they usually only have a enough time to do quick fixes.
I'm going to assume this is the same problem for facility services. Most of the major repairs get done during the summer when the classrooms are mostly unused.
