Cooking Knife?
Are we allowed to have cooking knives? Or is it good old-fashioned steal-plastic-ones-from-the-caf knives only?
I def don't want to be arrested or something because of it..

I lived in Keyes last year and I am living there again this year and my roomates and I had several knives in our kitchen...You can have them as long as you have a place to store them safely(like the Kitchen in Keyes) and hopefully your not running around with it...your old enough to own a knife....so your good..as far as i know

of course you can have a knife!
as long as you don't go on a murderous rampage killing people by stabbing them to death then your good.
just make sure its a small knife. People will ask questions if you come to residence with a butchers knife!

Of course it won't be for any murderous purposes..
So I'm guessing that the common room kitchen has no utensils whatsoever, correct?

Nope, you have to bring things yourselves. Pots, pans, spatulas, utensils, ingredients, etc... Whatever you need for your cooking.
Edit: Also, don't leave anything in the kitchen. It's always best to take everything back with you.

Aww..it won't be that bad.
You don't have to bring everything you know. Just a few things. You have your meal card to take care of everything else!

You can just bring a pan, a spatula, a plate, a fork, a knife, a spoon. That's pretty much the basics you need to cook and eat. You can put everything in your closet or in your drawer.
