I actually have met some very kind people at Mac, although it's often a one time thing.

In my first year, I lost my wallet, keys and/or student card 5 times in different places. Each time, someone kind found me & returned it to me. I think that is pretty amazing

Really? I'd say the majority of people I've met at Mac are very kind and friendly. Of course, I'm not a very sociable person and so I haven't met many people in general, and there have been a fair share of insolent people, but in general the people are great.
EDIT: And of course, I'm not saying that this is something inherent to Mac either. I see these people with this unnerving loyalty to Mac (or their respective university), boasting how everything from the people to the grass is better at said university, and I be all like...airline food.

you misunderstood me, I meant I met them once and they are gone, I don't get to see them again.
