Course Materials

Hi, I am wondering about a few things for next term:

Psych 1XX3:

Do I need the textbook that they recommend? (Psychology 5th ed)
Also, should I get a used courseware binder or a new one? I am not sure if it's updated every year even if there's a label that indicates it's new for that year.

Is there anything you recommend or any tips before I jump into this course?

Do they change the content for the lab manuals?? (Kin 1YY3, Physics 1B03, Bio 1A03, Chem 1AA3)
