The sample ovalbumin protein solution was prepared with the previously enriched ovalbumin sample at 3 mg/mL in the PBS buffer. 20 µL of each solution was combined with with 20 µL of Laemmli Sample Buffer (62.5 mM Tris-HCl pH 6.8, 25% glycerol, 2% SDS, 0.01% bromophenol blue, 350 mM DTT), and briefly vortexed. These samples were heated to 100°C for 5 minutes, and then allowed to cool to room temperature. 20 µL of each sample and a molecular weight protein marker (BioRad #161-0318) were loaded into the gel, and run at a constant 200 V for 40 minutes. The gel was stained for 30 minutes using Coomassie Blue Staining Solution (40% methanol, 10% glacial acetic acid, 0.25% (w/v) Coomassie Brilliant Blue R-250 in water),

EDIT: <sigh> ... the life of a chemical biology student... ;( and why did this post twice?

SONG – BAT OUT OF HELL
Scene 1: Three Kraft singles, and 30 seconds in the microwave
Party time! Most people are already really drunk. Jere-bro runs up to Dora, he is sober (for now...)
Jere-bro: Dora!!! What’s up?!?!?!
DORA: Wow, I’m so excited! This is my first party ever! I can’t believe we’re done high school already!
...whoops can't give too much away from this year's musical.... had the whole first act on my clipboard!

Do we have any other faculty musicals other than Eng, or is it the only one cool enough?
(other than Humanities, obviously...)

Health sci started a musical I believe 3 years ago, they asked us for some advice and I was present at their first one... not sure how they're doing though because the past years they've scheduled at the same time as ours.
Our engineering musical is one of a kind!! (as far as we know )
