I know this is a weird question, but do the rooms already have some kind of curtains or blinds? If not, how exactly do we put them up without drilling a hole in the wall?
In addition, are we allowed to put up wall stickers?

There's blinds already in residence, no curtains though. Although I remember back in first year, some people bought curtains that you could put up without drilling a hole in the wall, so it's definitely possible.

I used tension rods that go against the walls

My res (matthews) has curtains. Although, I wouldn't really put curtains up. And I had a friend who put up wall stickers. As long as it won't damage the walls, you're good.

Bates also had curtains; and yeah, you can put up stickers as long as you can take them off without peeling the paint; my roommate did and it was fine!
