Anyone know how one can download things off DC++ if they are no longer in Rez?

The tracker/server moved off of residence a couple years ago. It works exactly the same way; the server doesn't need to be in the residence network. It's purpose is to just tell you who has what, and then initiate a connection between you and them to download.

So how do i make it so that i can download things off rez because as of now i can see things but i can't download them

The reason for that is nobody is in residence at the moment. There are a few random people connected here and there, but they're connected from their homes.

For DC++ downloading/uploading to work from home, you need to forward some ports in your router. I doubt most people have that set up and are probably only using the server for chat at the moment.

Even if they had forwarded their ports, the speed would be pretty slow (< 100 kB/s) due to the fact that they're uploading over the internet through a home connection.

I'd advise just sticking with torrents until you get back to school.
