Hi there. Just before the break, I noticed that DC++ had stopped working. Has it been working for anyone else recently? I tried to install it again tonight but had no luck. Has the address changed from previous years? Thanks for any help anyone can provide .

Maybe whoever hosts it just hasn't got back to res yet? Or had a chance to get it set up again?

That's probably it. My external hard drive failed on me over the break, so I lost most of my shows :'(.

There was an earlier thread on this. The operator said he shut it down due to lack of interest. Ill try to find a link

Lack of interest?! I was very interested :(. Does anyone know the download limit for people on Residence? I've heard it was 3gb a day but that isn't a lot :(

It was either that no one was holding the server in their room or just no one was uploading stuff in general.

Downloading movies and stuff on res is kind of hard without DC++, torrent download speeds are throttled, meaning that you'll never be consistently downloading at an ok speed.
