DC++ Banned
So I got banned from DC++ for putting a wrong password.

It requires me to type in a password after connecting to McMaster Hub, what is this password that I'm supposed to insert? Is there any way to be unbanned or am I unable to use DC++ forever? - because it said permanently banned based on my IP Address.

Thanks.

damn! change the topic man! I thought DC got banned from McMaster!

the only way would be to either change your ip/mac or your dc++ username. Or you could just ask one of the admins or something

What does DC++ have anything to do with "being good at computers"?

lol it doesn't have anything to do with being good with computers. DC++ is a tool that makes using the computer easier. You could browse the internet using a command prompt, but you probably don't, you probably use a web browser - a tool that makes it easier.

The fact that nobody else gets passworded doesn't mean he's not good with computers. It means that he didn't know some usernames might be password-protected.

Something I'm sure you didn't know either. I guess that means you're crap at computers too.

Also, most people don't have the luxury of being able to get over 5gb worth of stuff in under 10 minutes.

nothing on DC++ is worth downloading. corrupt files, improper naming conventions, bad quality, etc

And to the guy above, I'm using lynx right now. But you did not get my point.
ANd I lol'd at the "DC++ is a tool that makes using the computer easier"

Well sorry to hear you've had what seems like a terrible experience getting stuff from there.

List 5 other usernames that are password protected right now.
