DC ++ for Macbooks?
So I have a MacBook Pro and seeing that I'm in res this year I've been hearing about nothing else but DC ++ and how awesome it is it's just that when I try and download it, it isn't compatible with my system... any advice?

You've gotta download shakespeer - it's the same but made for macs
Once you download it it's pretty much the same to set up as DC++
Good luck!!

You need to download a program called Shakespeer:

http://shakespeer.bzero.se/

Thats the link. Get one of your res friends or look on MI for a tutorial on setting it up.

Protip: If the file name ends in .exe, it's a windows program and not compatible with your mac.

Solutions: Windows in a VM; dual boot with Windows; be competent enough to install Wine and lucky enough to have it work

Just don't forget that you have a life outside DC++. Like this is you're only time that you'll be in res with a bunch of first year friends, enjoy it.
